Hire Conditions

Drivers

MINIBUS & MPV HIRE: The main driver does not have to use their own card for payment but must supply proof that they have their own bank account.

Driving Licence

We can hire to drivers with up to 6 points in one year for speeding or minor convictions offence codes. For major convictions i.e. DR, IN, DD, TT, BA etc need to be at least 5 years from date of conviction. If you are unsure please contact us before hire for clarification.

Driving Experience

Drivers must have held a full driving licence for 2 years or more. Both parts of the licence must be provided on collecting a vehicle.

Age Restictions

All drivers must be between 25 and 70 years of age except minibuses and people carriers where the minimum age is 28.

Occupation

We are unable to hire to persons in certain occupations. These include professional entertainers, professional sports persons, Publicans, Night club owners, owners of gaming establishments, members of foreign military and students.

Travel outside of the United Kingdom

We can supply all vehicles for use outside mainland Britain. Please contact us for quotations and required criteria. All prices on our web site are for UK hire only.

Delivery and collection

Deliveries and collections are charged depending on the distance. All deliveries/collections are chargeable unless arranged prior to the hire start date Monday to Friday only (contact us for delivery/collection prices).  Out of hours deliveries and collections are based on 2 hours before or after office ours (see home page for office hours)

Late Returns (without prior arrangement)

 Returns up to one hour late will normally be subject to a half days hire charge.Returns over one hour late will be subject to a full days hire charge and possible deposit forfeit. Early returns are not subject to any refund or credit. Vehicles not returned on time causing loss of hire to that vehicles next hire will be charged the hire amount lost. 

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just choose your hire dates and your vehicle and click on Hire Now. Electron and Solo cards are not accepted. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. You will need to supply a recent utility bill or bank statement when collecting your vehicle and a deposit of £150 is required for cars and £200 for all vans. Where a car is hired the driver must own and supply a valid credit or debit card upon collection even if this was not the payment card when the booking was placed with us. Where a minibus or people carrier is hired, a CREDIT CARD not Debit card is required to pre-auth a deposit of £200. When hiring a car the driver must have their own credit/debit card.  A cardholder must be present when any vehicle is collected. Collision damage waiver is available on all hires. Deposits taken on hires may be used to cover loss of hire due to damage or driver's negligence.

Long Term Flexi Hire

All payments for hire and lease are on 28 terms only. Payment must be made as per agreed before taking a vehicle. Flexi hire must be for a minimum of 3 months.

Special Offers

All special offers are subject to availability. Bookings made before an offer is placed on the site will not be subject to any refund or rebate. Special offers will only be activated when specified on booking forms on-line or when requested during telephone bookings. All other bookings will be made using normal prices.

CAR & VAN HIRE: The main driver must have their own credit or debit card to be used for the hire payment or the deposit.

Excess and Waivers

Damage waivers can only be taken with hires of 2 days or more.

Minibuses, People carriers and vans £1000 - waiver £14 per day reduced to £250

Cars £600 - waiver £10 per day reduced to 150

Cancellation Details

Cancellations over 14 days will be subject to a refund less an administration charge of £35. Cancellations of 14 days or less will not be subject to any refund or credit.

28 Days notice must be given for the Cancellation of foreign hires.

Booked continental insurance is not refundable.

Deposits paid to hold vehicles is non refundable on cancellations.

FUEL CHARGES

A £10 refuelling charge will be added when any vehicle is not returned full.

Credit Card Security

All credit card details are taken using a secure server.
